Spice Kingdom OCAT in Osaka

What can I say? Go anywhere in Japan and return home and you're going to feel that your home country is backwards, dated and filthy. Japan's infrastructure is amazing. Everything runs efficiently. The airport is super clean like the rest of the country. It is orderly and people are genuinely courteous.

Big place, not so crowded. Great for transit from bus to train and railways in Osaka. Connected to both subway and JR trains

You can use the cheapest limousine bus from/to KIX. JPY 1050 for one way.

The place is very cool, clean and complete with directional signs.

Large high end shopping mall with lots of places to eat. Many employees spike or at least understood English. Definitely a spot tourist should go to.

It's especially convenient to central Osaka city although can be reached easily by subway or train from most parts of the city. However, it's a little difficult to locate or see without a mobile device or a map. The waiting areas for the various buses are not so large with limited seating. That said, I've rarely seen it crowded. Personally, it's not my choice to bus to KIX as you can't absolutely guarantee arriving at the airport at the time you had hoped. I prefer the Nankai trains from Namba Station for speed and reliability, especially the dark blue Nankai Rapit. For under ¥1300 it speeds you in comfort to KIX in about 30 minutes.

Bus station to get you to the airport or other places in Japan. Underground walkway is connected to different convenient places like malls/shopping areas or capsule hotels. Walking distance from Dotonbori also.

At first it was huge and confusing, but after awhile it's still huge and confusing.

If you use bus limousine from and to osaka airport, you can never miss this mall because the bus depart from and arrive to here.On 6 floor there are many good restaurant if you are hungry. And this mall also have famous 100 yen shop aka DAISO (all item is 100 yen beside the one with price tag). Each of every item is unique and has many function that you never think of. So you likely will spend at least 2-3 hours here to browse all od the item.

Clean but rather old terminal. A lot of shop and restaurant here. Came here to pickup ICOCA purchase from Klook. The tourist office is very helpful. My daughter is very delighted to see lines of Gacha machines here. Must visit in Namba area.

Nice but small departement store, next to namba. Also is the bus station, at the second floor.There is always some dancers and sometimes some events on the front side, B1.

Cheapest way to get from narita to namba. You may have to walk quite a distance from your accommodations so make sure to check before hand. Get a round trip ticket at narita for further discount.

Can take bus from here to Naruto theme park, Awaji Island. Return trip including park ticket. Also, other things to see here are historical buildings, etc. From JR Namba, get connected to all subways about 400 meters away via underground tunnel. Head towards kintetsu or subway signs.

Clean and organized.

Very easy way to get to the airport. -1100 for adult and 550 for child will get you there in 50 minutes. Always seats. 20 minutes per bus. We got our taxi drop us there, go up to 2nd floor and took me 1 minute to get the tickets then 30 seconds later we were on the bus to terminal 1. Ditch the train.There are a Daiso here to get your last minute shopping, lots of place selling Bento to take on the plane, lots of food to eat, clean toilet and no drunk bogans here. Awesome. Also airport bus have wifi.

Don't let google info fool you. Altought it said that OCAT is open at 11 am but the ticket counter actually open much earlier than that (i went there at 6 am) and you can buy tickets from the machine (English menu is available) The bus terminal is located on the 2nd floor not the ground floor. Many people do use the service to airport so be there at least 30 mins earlier than schedule to queue up.

The name is misleading. One may think that its an airport. No, its a bus station. Very impressive.

Easy to locate , ticket is only 1,100 yen

A little confusing for me as I don't speak Japanese unfortunately. I couldn't find where the taxis were for a long time but thankfully I found a nice taxi driver and he spoke English too!! :)

Many things to see here

I bought my ticket through Klook. Very convenient and easy to find the bus. The ride was pleasant. They will give you a ticket for your luggage when they will put your bags in the bus storage below. So you can comfortably sit inside the bus. You can recline the seat. The bus is clean! 👍

Very good services and easy to use. Kasai airport to Osaka city or vice versa, it's most easy way to move.

Been here 3 times and all of them got lost inside.

Post office here open everyday until 6pm. Restaurants available. Also has a Daiso. Sometimes events also

There is great restaurant in 5F name zero hachi. Miyamoto san is excellent

Spacious but the connectivity is little complicated from mainland Osaka to airport by normal JR trains

Kansai Airport in Osaka Japan. Flying back to Fukuoka, Japan then catch a bus back to Sasebo, Japan. We used Peach Airlines as airfares are very affordable and staff is absolutely wonderful (although, I must say, they are VERY, and I mean...VERY SLOW) getting you through the lines & onto the planes. But we were first few people in line. So get to any Peach flight EARLY to be the first or near front of line and wait for them to open (we stood for half hour but was worth it!!)Our flights were:Fukuoka airport (Domestic terminal) to Narita Airport (Terminal 1) Tokyo; then from Tokyo to Osaka and Osaka back to Fukuoka. PLEASE Don't forget, staff folks are wonderful & helpful despite being the slowest we ever encountered in our travels.
